10. Edge Of Tomorrow
Though people may question where could a steamy kiss fit in a complex sci-fi thriller, they may turn to 2014’s ‘Edge of Tomorrow’. The movie was an instant success upon release and critics reviewed it favorably. One of the beloved scenes of the film is when Rita was saying goodbye to Lieutenant Colonel Bill Cage. While saying the heavy words of farewell, Emily who played Rita Vrataski, kissed her companion throughout the film.
The characters of the film Rita and Bill had chemistry between them and was very evident. However, the writers of the movie were at an impasse on when should their spark be explicit on the screen. The storyline of the film was a series of consecutive action and mystery. But during the farewell scene in the middle of the fight, Blunt saw the opening and took it. The perfect solution for an argument where you know everything will be alright.
Hilariously, Tom Cruise improvised in this scene not because it fit but because he forgot his line. When Pete looks all passionate before kissing Charlie, it was Tom actually trying to remember his lines. Kelly who played Charlie was shocked but went along with Tom. And as we know the director Tony Scott decided to go with it.
8. Jurassic World

Director Colin Trevorrow discussed it with Chris Pratt, who played Owen Grady before the scene was shot. This was just between Colin and Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard had no idea of this. Therefore, the eye tearing reaction of Claire was real. This also posed to give way to the chemistry between the lead characters.

Luke tenderly kisses Leia on the forehead and said, “No one’s ever really gone.” The above was all improvised by Mark Harmill who played Luke.
There was a divided opinion over the 2017 film. But all agreed over this scene which brought tears to fans’ eyes. And Mark proved that for a scene to be intimate the kiss is not supposed to be on the lips only. A simple peck can mean a thousand emotions. And this scene was most emotional. After the film, Carrie Fisher passed away. So it really was like saying goodbye to an old friend.

All of this was unscripted and was thought by Bill at the very second.
Lost in Tokyo and language Bob and deserted Charlotte find a friend in each other. Therefore, it was emotionally heavy when the film’s ending was left open with the kiss. To date, we do not know what Bill whispered in Scar Jo’s ear. Could be jargon or could it be a heads up, “I’m going to kiss you!”.
4. American Hustle
Nothing is scarier than spiteful disturbing revenge. But to intimidate someone with the threat of revenge with a kiss will certainly give you goosebumps. That is what happened in American Hustle. Rosalyn was confronted by Sydney in the bathroom over the love of Rosalyn’s husband.
It is a heated argument. While Rosalyn comes off as a psychotic character she accuses Sydney of cheating with her husband. The sight of the shooting was a beach. Hemsworth revealed “The funny thing about that scene was that originally there was no kiss in that scene. And the director was yelling out things throughout the scene, halfway through she yelled out: ’Kiss!’ So we kinda got thrown into it, which was good cause, you know, I had no time to get nervous about it.”
2. A Room With A View
In the period drama, on-screen touch is not expected. But when it does show it created butterflies in the viewers’ stomachs. The 1985 ‘A Room With A View’ is a marvelous example of period romance. And the scene where George Emerson, to fans’ delight, finally kisses Lucy was unscripted.
Later Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Lucy in the film, revealed, “You know the kiss that ended up being something everyone loved? That was totally improvised, right at the last minute.” She further adds that the eighteen-year-old was trying to hold back her chuckles so as not to break character.
1. The Office
This unscripted kiss in the television series ‘The Office’ has good reason to top the list. ‘The Office’ is a household favorite for its unnerving comedy. And the unscripted kiss shared between Steve Carell and Oscar Nunez was another hilarious scene in the sitcom.
Nunez’s character Oscar had just come out of the closet. And every employee in the office seemed to think that the manager Michael Scott played by Steve will be homophobic. But in a stubborn attempt to prove everyone wrong, Michael grabs Oscar and awkwardly kisses him. The scene becomes more hilarious when we learn that the entire stiffness was not acting but the real reaction of the actors.
