During the duo’s recent interview at ‘Hot Ones’ on the ‘First We Feast’ YouTube channel, Ryan Reynolds spoke of how the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ team’s initial plan was to shoot and display a fake “intentionally bad” movie called ‘Alpha Cop’ as a strategy to keep the movie’s suspense alive.

The original idea with this movie was to shoot a fake movie called Alpha Cop that was intentionally bad,” he said. “I even had one of the posters made — it was about two guys who are sharing one brain and together they make the ultimate cop. And the poster says, “Alpha Cop: Two Cops. One Brain. All Balls.”

The actor revealed that the movie was planned to play for the initial five minutes which would eventually follow with the actual ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.

“It was meant to be kind of like horrible, so 10 people in America would go to see this movie on opening weekend. Five minutes into the movie the Marvel logo would flip up and it would actually be Deadpool & Wolverine.

Although this plan was not executed, it is still a humourous possibility to think about what could’ve been the outcome.
