Hayden Christensen, best known for his role as Anakin Skywalker in the ‘Star Wars‘ prequels, might take on the role of the big bad. Christensen has already proven himself with his performance in ‘Star Wars‘, and definitely has the charisma to make Apocalypse a truly terrifying villain.

Moreover, Apocalypse is a complex and powerful villain. Unlike some of the other villains, he is purely driven by the desire for power and control. He will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Besides, he is also a master of manipulation and likes to turn people against each other.

According to the insider Exiledscoop3r, Apocalypse will be the main antagonist for the mutant saga. Previously, MCU had plans for Jonathan Majors’ Kang to be the main antagonist. However, the actors’ legal troubles got in the way.

In a shocking twist in ‘X-Men: Heir of Apocalypse’ #4, Douglas Ramsey, better known as Cypher, became the new heir to Apocalypse. After surviving a series of deadly trials orchestrated by Apocalypse, Cypher transformed into Revelation, a powerful being capable of harnessing the immense power of a god.

The issue teased the dramatic conclusion of the tournament, where only one survivor would be chosen to safeguard the future of mutant-kind. Moreover, Cypher’s victory marked a significant turning point in the X-Men‘s story. He also assumed the mantle of a figure who has historically been a major antagonist.
