Brie Larson Breaks Silence On Her Involvement In Upcoming Avengers Projects

The MCU is gearing up for its next phase with two new Avengers films set to conclude this saga. While most of the details still remain hidden, one major heavy hitter is teasing about her probable involvement. Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel, recently opened up about what’s next for her character.

Larson has quickly become a key fixture within the MCU since debuting in 2019’s ‘Captain Marvel‘. Her character proved vital in the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ and was branded as one of Marvel’s newest heroes to lead the franchise forward. During a conversation on The Playlist’s podcast, Bingeworthy, Larson admitted to having some knowledge of her future Marvel ventures but explained that she’s unable to go into the specifics. When asked if her knowledge involved the new Avengers films, she neither refused to confirm nor deny anything outright.

I can’t say anything and I can’t even say that I don’t know anything because that might mean that there’s something to say or not say,” admitted Larson, which implies that her involvement is imminent but on what measure is unknown by the fans.

Larson Looks Forward To The Superhero Team-Ups

While unable to confirm rumors, Larson did express surprise regarding some of the SDCC announcements like Robert Downey Jr.’s return as Doctor Doom. She said none of this was mentioned beforehand by Kevin Feige, which shows the extent of secrecy that was maintained.

The actor also spoke generally about how she enjoys teaming up with fellow heroines. Larson sees the value in showcasing that no single hero can save the day alone and praises the “Lady power” dynamic in ‘The Marvels‘.

Audiences can expect Captain Marvel to play an important role in the franchise in the future. Larson’s interview and way of response suggest her involvement is imminent. As the MCU moves into its next saga, Carol Danvers’ growing strengths make her a strong ally.
