‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ is highly anticipated by Marvel fans as it will see Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time since his cameo in ‘Spiderman: No Way Home‘. In a new interview, Cox has teased that the Disney+ series will feature some cameos from familiar MCU faces, though nothing too major.
Cox’s comments have only increased excitement for what Marvel Studios have planned for ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘. Set to premiere in early 2025, the series will continue Matt Murdock’s story and allow him to truly interact with the wider Marvel world on the screen. With the show filming soon, hints about cameo appearances will likely continue to trickle out.
Confirmed Daredevil “Collisions” By Charlie Cox
At this year’s D23 Expo, Marvel Studios confirmed that one character from Ms. Marvel would appear in ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘. Yusuf Khan, played by Mohan Kapur and father to Kamala Khan, will feature in a scene where he asks Matt Murdock what kind of lawyer he is. Murdock responds with his iconic line “I’m a hell of a lawyer“. While Khan is the only explicit cameo revealed so far, Cox teased more fun surprises.
In an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Cox stated “There’s a couple of fun, small moments of collision, but nothing major. I use that word [collision] when characters get together“. He continued that the cameos would not be central to the plot but instead more lighthearted interactions between characters. This hints that ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ will feature a few MCU faces in supporting or comedic roles.

Potential Options For Minor Cameos
A few characters who could realistically make brief cameo appearances include Ned Leeds from Spider-Man, given his New York connections. Eleanor Bishop from Hawkeye may encounter Murdock during a case as she has interacted with the criminal underworld. The series could also continue the tradition of Easter eggs to the Netflix shows. Characters like Karen Page or Foggy Nelson are confirmed to return, much to the delight of longtime Daredevil fans.
With filming soon beginning and a prime early 2025 release date lined up, further casting announcements and plot leaks are inevitable in the coming months. Cox’s teases of unexpected MCU faces dropping in have increased optimism for ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘. Seeing Cox square off or team up with past Marvel heroes is sure to be a treat for viewers. Fans will have to wait patiently to see just which characters get a moment of “collision” with the Man Without Fear.
