The presence of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in several clips only adds to the weight of this tribute. Accompanying the video, Hemsworth shared an emotional message: “Playing Thor has been one of the greatest honors of my life. For the last 15 years I’ve held Mjolnir and then Stormbreaker as the God of Thunder. But what made it truly special… was sharing it with all of you.”

These words, to fans, feel less like a promotional message and more like a curtain call. And it’s not the first time Hemsworth has hinted at an end. I mean, it’s been a long time now, so I am not really sure… some logistical stuff and COVID stuff and I think also creative stuff.” While Knight’s comments aren’t confirmation of a cancellation, they do reflect the message.
It’s worth noting that Marvel has been undergoing major restructuring, especially with its approach to television. So, shows that were developed under earlier frameworks, like Ms. Marvel, may be on pause. But all hope isn’t lost. Vellani’s Kamala is reportedly involved in assembling the Young Avengers, a storyline still taking shape in the Multiverse Saga.
