    Daredevil: The Original Showrunners Express Their Views On The Revival Of The Series For Disney+

    Marvel originally made “Daredevil” for Netflix. It was the first TV series created by MCU. It has originally three seasons in total. For the first season, S. DeKnight was the showrunner. Then Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez became the showrunners for the second season and finally followed by Erik Oleson in the third season. It is the story of a blind man who fights crime as a lawyer and also as his superhero alias Daredevil. Disney+ is finally bringing the series back for a fourth season. This is amazing news for the Daredevil fans.

    What Does The Showrunners Of “Daredevil” Have To Say?


    The season 3 showrunner for the series is Erik Oleson. He recently shared his views on Twitter about the news of the revival of the series and bringing it back for season 4. Oleson said he is thrilled about the news and couldn’t be happier. He has praised the entire cast and even the fan base in his tweets. “Thrilled to learn that #Daredevil lives on! Best cast and best fan base EVER!” he tweeted.

    Steven De Knight who was the showrunner for the first season also voiced out. He already expressed he is not angry or unhappy and is rather happy about the news. He expects much better work than what they originally did on Netflix. “As a lifelong fan of the character, I hope it’s even BETTER than what we did on Netflix. Lord knows they’ll have a much, much larger budget,” DeKnight tweeted.

    Steven De Knight’s Reply To Fans


    Many Daredevil Fans have taken it upon themselves and tweeted to De Knight. They expressed how worried they were to which direction the series will unfold. Steven De Knight replied to the fan saying that he expects highly of the series. He is looking forward to the next chapter and has nothing but best wishes for everyone in the series. “I personally look forward to the next chapter in DD’s life and wish everyone involved the absolute best!”

    When a fan asked if he was willing to come back to draft an episode or two he replied very firmly. He said that he has prior commitments and unfortunately won’t be available. “I would but I’m currently unavailable for the next few years due to other commitments. Plus I want the new creative team to be free to do their thing!”

    Fans are expecting highly of the series after the showrunner shared their opinion as they are eagerly waiting for the series to hit the screens.
