The Shawn Levy film has earned $1.086 billion around the globe within 23 days of its release, the studios added. Out of all the movies released in 2024, ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ stand at second place for the highest-grossing film, with first place held by Pixar’s ‘Inside Out 2‘ which crossed the 1 billion mark in July.

This also means that Disney holds the top 2 spots of the year and also makes them the only studio having back-to-back releases which joined the $1 billion club during the same year, according to the press release.

She also revealed that the entire team was “holding hands” in the movie theatre with “eyes open” as they wanted to create an authentic Marvel experience for the fans, and they succeeded well in it.

Kevin Feige also called the fillm a “wholesome R-rated movie”. “Yes, it’s R-rated, and there’s some language and blood, but the film is incredibly emotional. It really is a celebration of friendship and family and of found family,” he added.
