According to popular inside @MyTimeToShineHello, One of the more specific plot leaks has provided potential details on the upcoming Marvel project. Scoopers report that in the film, the cosmic entity Galactus will make himself known to the Fantastic Four, but in a way that might or might not lead up to the events of ‘Avengers: Secret Wars‘.
‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Will Feature Galactus Searching For Franklin Richard, Suggests Scooper
According to @MyTimeToShineHello, Galactus tells the Fantastic Four through his herald the Silver Surfer that their planet Earth will be consumed unless they travel to Galactus’ realm with Franklin Richards.
This similar plot point was used in the popular comic run ‘Earth X’ and it seems like Marvel will be using this in the first outing of Marvel’s “First Family.” In the comic, Franklin Richard sacrificed his own identity and became Galactus after the original one was killed by Reed Richards.
It is currently unclear if they use this plot point as it is or make some changes. It was already revealed that it won’t be an origin story. Thus Marvel had a free hand in picking the plots of the movie.

Marvel’s First Family Will Reportedly Square Off Against Galactus In Space
The leaked photos from ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ shooting set show elaborate space station and planetary sets under construction. The footage that was shown during D23 featured shots of the four in astronaut-like suits flying through the inky black void.
All signs point to a high-stakes climactic battle taking place in outer space. With Franklin in the picture, it seems the family will travel to Galactus’ domain to confront him and save their planet, likely leading to an explosive finale not outside of Earth.
While nothing is fully confirmed yet, these scoops and rumours paint a likely first look at the Fantastic Four that aligns with previous MCU storytelling. Fans will have to wait until the film’s release to know for sure how their origins and introductions to the greater Marvel universe truly unfold.
