While attending the red carpet premiere for Netflix’s ‘The Union‘, Berry candidly revealed to Comicbook that she was never officially approached to return as Storm. The news came as a surprise to many, considering the film’s abundance of cameos. Moreover, the natural synergy between her character and Wolverine would’ve been iconic.
“No,” Berry stated when asked about any discussions regarding her return. “Blake Lively asked me one time, I ran into her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show, and she said, ‘Would you ever be in my husband’s movie as Storm?’ I said, ‘Yeah, if he asked me,’ but he never asked me,” she added.

‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ Had Several Other Hard To Forget Cameos
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ was a huge success among fans and brought back a lot of iconic characters to life. The film was packed to the brim with cameos with new characters appearing till the very end. Moreover, it can be said that out of all the cameos Henry Cavill as a Wolverine variant was the most surprising.
Additionally, another standout was Chris Evans returning as the Human Torch, only to be quickly extinguished by the main antagonist of the film, Cassandra Nova. The movie also paid homage to the Fox era with appearances from Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Channing Tatum’s Gambit, and a nod to Wesley Snipes’ Blade.
In addition to that Dafne Keen also reprised her role as Wolverine’s daughter Laura, providing a sweet reunion. These cameos were short but sweet, satisfying fans’ desire for a reunion of iconic characters. Additionally, while the film didn’t shy away from big names, it also included smaller, Easter egg-like appearances. Whether it was Blake Lively’s Ladypool or Ryan Reynolds’ kids as Babypool, the film had it all.
