Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ is turning into one of the biggest films for the franchise, and there are endless possibilities as to who might return. The makers have already announced some huge names, but the expanding roster of heroes is still creating intrigue. Recently, Halle Berry talked about reprising Storm for the MCU.
Berry is known for her portrayal of the weather-controlling mutant Storm in the X-Men franchise, but she has never been a part of any Avengers project. Is it finally time?

While promoting her upcoming film, ‘Crime 101,’ alongside Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry was asked about her possible involvement in ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ She initially laughed it off, but admitted that she would love to be a part of the film. However, her affirmative response quickly turned as the host followed up. So, she ended up denying the opportunity with a straight no.

Despite putting Storm rumors to rest, Berry acknowledged that she might be one of her favorite characters. So, a future return is very much possible. “I love Storm so much, like so many people. She’s a beloved character, and she’s one of my favorites, and I’m so proud of playing that character. So, yeah, I would come back for sure,” she added.
This is not the first time Berry has generated speculation regarding her Marvel return. She previously teased that anything might happen, and she could do a surprising cameo. While it still remains a mystery whether Berry would be a part of ‘Doomsday‘ or not, fans aren’t losing hope as Marvel’s next major release, ‘Secret Wars,’ also opens up gateways for Storm.
Halle Berry’s Storm Was Featured in Marvel’s ‘What If..?’

Although Storm has not made any appearance in a live-action MCU film, the character made her animated debut in the series finale of Marvel’s ‘What If…?‘ series.
A variant of Ororo Munroe was featured as a Goddess of Thunder in the show. However, the character was voiced by Alison Sealy-Smith, the same actress who also voiced her in X-Men ’97.
