‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ was everything that we wanted this summer from Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most importantly it was filled with many unexpected cameos that were just the cherry on the top.
Chris Evans’s cameo stands among the list of unexpected appearances. And it wasn’t Captain America but Human Torch aka Johnny Storm. He returned for the role after more than 17 years and in honor of that, Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, composed a heartfelt message for Johnny Storm as a goodbye note.
Ryan Reynolds Posts A Perfect Goodbye For Human Torch
Ryan Reynolds posted the first look at Chris Evans’ cameo in ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ sharing the perfect goodbye to the character. Wade Wilson thanked Evans for joining the movie and also elaborated on why it was important to bring him back one last time.
He wrote, “Part of the movie’s theme is saying goodbye… And one of the gifts of working on the film is that we got to say goodbye on different terms”. He continued, “Seeing Johnny Storm (if only for a short while) was like seeing someone you miss come back from the dead in a dream.
He added, “Way too brief and too lovely to be real. Goodbyes are hard. It was hard saying goodbye to Chris Evans’ Johnny Storm. But at least we got to actually say it this time.”

Reynolds Addressed Storm’s Grisly Demise In ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’
Moreover, Reynolds also referenced Storm’s Grisly demise in his Wade Wilson way. “On the other hand, it wouldn’t have been necessary if he hadn’t run his fat-ass mouth around Cassandra,” he referenced the post-credit scenes of ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’.
He added, “Or if she hadn’t zip-zapped his skin, leaving his organs to splash crudely onto the ground, while the soil greedily drank his blood. It was horrible.”
The actor concluded the post in his ‘Fantastic Four‘ way. “Jonathan Lowell Spencer Storm: We love you. Wherever you are, I’m sure you’re thriving. #FlameOff”, he wrote.
