Jonathan Majors comes to replace Thanos in the MCU. There have been other antagonists, but none possess the villainy of Kang’s level. As he basks in the glory of his Marvel role, Majors recalls how he almost left the room when Marvel executives kept him waiting.

Jonathan Majors Recalls Getting Impatient At His First Marvel Meeting
‘The Last Black Man In San Francisco’ breakout star told Variety how things could have turned out differently. Jonathan Majors. In his first meeting with Marvel, he got impatient waiting for too long. Feeling a bit peevish, he left the room. Fortunately, he didn’t make it out of the building.
Jonathan Majors recalls, “I hope this doesn’t bite me in the ass, but I walked out of my Marvel general [meeting]. This was a long time ago. I had just gotten out of drama school and I’m running around town and I’m sitting in the office.
“I grew up in a very particular way and I don’t want to waste nobody’s time. So I got in there and they’re just busy. And I was like, ‘I’m supposed to be here, right?’ It got long and I went, ‘I’m just going to go. It’s cool. I’ll just go.” added Majors.

How Important Is Jonathan Majors’ Kang For Phase 5 Of Marvel?
Killing Thanos was not the end of the evil. Kang the Conqueror is the nemesis in ‘Antman And The Wasp: Quatamania.’ Previously, he showed up in the ‘Loki‘ series. Fans must note that the Kang on the show was a variant. People will see a different, more menacing version of Kang in ‘Quantamania.’
In the comic books, Kang the Conqueror is blessed with superhuman vitality. He is also versed in various forms of technology and can create holograms and force field projections. However, his ability to travel through time will bring him face-to-face with Avengers. Kevin Feige seems to have a lot of faith riding in Jonathan Majors as Kang.
Kang is an entirely different villain from Thanos. The purple-colored monstrosity wanted to eliminate half the planet for equilibrium, but Kang has no such altruistic views. He plans to end the human race out of sheer arrogance. Kang’s dangerous god complex has dulled his view of human civilization.
