‘Wednesday’ Star Jenna Ortega Reportedly In Talks For A Major Marvel Role

Jenna Ortega has been on a meteoric rise in Hollywood with her superhit Netflix original ‘Wednesday’. Now, she may be heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With standout performances in ‘Scream’, and ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’, Ortega has proven her versatility.

These qualities make her a fantastic addition to the MCU. If the rumors are true, we might soon see Ortega suiting up as a Marvel hero and fans know exactly who they want to see her as.

According to insider Daniel Richtman, Jenna Ortega is reportedly being considered for a major role in an upcoming Marvel project. While details remain scarce, fans are already buzzing about what character she could bring to life. It’s no secret that Marvel Studios has a history of recruiting Hollywood’s biggest rising stars, and Ortega is exactly that.

That being said, scheduling could be a challenge. So, if Marvel wants her in the MCU, they’ll have to move fast. Additionally, this isn’t the first time her name has been linked to a Marvel role. Previous rumors suggested the studio had its eye on her for a superhero part. However, new reports suggest talks may be further along than before.

While Marvel has yet to reveal what role Jenna Ortega might be up for, fans have wasted no time speculating. The most popular theory? White Tiger, aka Ava Ayala. White Tiger is a lesser-known but beloved Marvel character who possesses enhanced strength, agility, and reflexes.

As a young Latina hero with ties to Spider-Man and the Avengers, she would be a perfect fit for the MCU’s expanding roster. With Marvel seemingly focusing on younger heroes (Ms. Marvel, Ironheart, and Kate Bishop), White Tiger would be a logical addition.

Fans on social media have been vocal about wanting to see Ortega as White Tiger. “I would like Jenna Ortega to play White Tiger/Ava Ayala in the MCU,” one fan tweeted. Beyond White Tiger, some have suggested she could join the X-Men, given Marvel’s slow introduction of mutants into the MCU. “Probably White Tiger or an X-Men role,” another added.
