“He Simply Sighed And Banged His Head On The Car Seat”: Jennifer Lawrence’s Nephew Refuses To Believe She Is The “Real X-Men”

Jennifer Lawrence, the acclaimed actress known for her roles in ‘The Hunger Games’ and the ‘X-Men’ franchise, previously revealed a hilarious encounter with her nephew. Despite starring in four ‘X-Men’ films as the shapeshifting mutant Mystique, her nephew, Bear, remained unconvinced of her superhero status.

The actress shared her disappointment with the whole ordeal. Additionally, she even revealed that her nephew did not want to be part of her films.

During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Lawrence shared a humorous anecdote about her attempts to convince the four-year-old that she is indeed an X-Men. “My four-year-old nephew, Bear, he is obsessed with X-Men. And, I’m like, Bear, I’m an X-Men, and he’s like, “No, the real X-Men.” It’s like the most infuriating…” Lawrence explained.

However, Bear’s response was far from enthusiastic, as he simply sighed and banged his head on the car seat. “Bear, I play Mystique, I’m an X-Men. Acknowledge it. He hates it,” Lawrence added. She expressed her frustration with her nephew’s disbelief.
