There are several major rumors swirling around about Marvel that could potentially have a huge impact on the MCU after ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. If true, Marvel may be taking the post-Secret Wars era as an opportunity to revamp several characters and create new versions of classic teams.
The New World And Captain America

One of the most significant is that Wanda Maximoff, Loki, and Franklin Richards could reshape the New World, while Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter, and James would live in a 1940s world. The rumor even goes so far as to suggest that James Rogers turns into the Red Skull.

The Captain America mythology might get more complicated, too. Sam Wilson may reportedly have another Captain America operating alongside him, while Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres continues as Falcon and gains technology allowing him to communicate with animals.
There’s also a rumor of Bucky as a completely new character, and ‘Captain America 5’. Another interesting tidbit is that Old Steve Rogers knows Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and that they are friends. Steve would also supposedly remain in contact with Sam.
In the new reality, Wanda and Vision might have a family, with Viv, Billy and Tommy going to college with other Young Avengers, while their parents work with the West Coast Avengers.
Young Avengers And The X-Men

The Young Avengers are said to be put together with Kamala Khan, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Billy, Tommy, Riri Williams, and America Chavez, with Hulkling and Iron Lad and Patriot potentially joining. The rumored movie would reportedly focus heavily on Iron Lad and his connection to Kang, while Cassie could play an important role in his story.

Patriot’s origin would also be reportedly investigated, which would tie him to Sam Wilson’s super-soldier powers. The rumored X-Men film is no different. Mr. Sinister is rumored to have ties to Havok and Scott Summers. Emma Frost will form the Hellfire group and face off against Charles Xavier’s X-Men.
The U.S. government is reportedly holding Magneto prisoner, and Jean Grey may be Xavier’s very first student. If true, then Marvel’s post ‘Secret Wars’ universe may be entirely different.
