After some chatter around in social media, Marvel Studios has finally unveiled the star who will take on the role of Fantastic Four antagonist Galactus. Marvel has signed popular British actor Ralph Ineson to play the role of the “Devourer Of Worlds”.
Ineson is another addition to an already star-studded cast of the upcoming ‘Fantastic Four‘. Creators have already revealed that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will be playing the roles of Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm respectively. In addition, Julia Garner is also set to play the Female Silver Surfer.
Galactus Will Finally Get Justice In The Live-Action ‘Fantastic Four’ Movie
For fans who don’t know, this won’t be the first time Galactus will feature in a live-action movie. The “Devourer Of Worlds” made his movie debut in 2007’s ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer‘. However, like the movie, 20th Century Studios did dirty with him.
Galactus is a cosmic entity that eats planets to survive. He is huge and wears a helmet with 2 some sort of antennae. However, for some reason, the 20th Century decided to show Galactus as a giant cloud in the ‘Rise Of Silver Surfer’. Fans didn’t like this portrayal of Galactus and creators were criticised for this.
Since Marvel Studios is in command, hopefully, fans will see an accurate portrayal of Galactus with Ralph Ineson taking on the role. It hasn’t been revealed whether Galactus will make a minor appearance or will be the main Antagonist of the first family in ‘Fantastic Four’.

‘Fantastic Four’ Director Talks About The Plot
Marvel has brought back the director of ‘WandaVision’, Matt Shakman to pull strings for this project. In an interview, Shakman revealed that the plot will be very different from what fans have seen.
He said, “It’s different in so many ways. I wish I could be specific. I wish I could say more. But we are doing things very differently from a story standpoint, from an approach to the filmmaking standpoint, that really fits the material. I wish I could say more. I would love to, but I can’t. But I think it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve seen before, and certainly unlike anything at Marvel that you’ve seen before.”
After X-Men, the Fantastic Four is another faction that fans have been craving to see in the MCU. The shooting for ‘Fantastic Four’ will begin in August 2024. Till then, fans can expect some more announcements about Marvel’s First Family’s entry project.
