Marvel Studios is gearing up to make 2025 a massive year on Disney+ with a diverse slate of series, packed with both long-anticipated returns and exciting new stories. In a recent reel, Marvel officially unveiled its 2025 Disney+ lineup.
Despite Bob Iger’s call for fewer shows, the 2025 lineup reflects a bold commitment to telling several new stories. With three live-action shows, three animated series, and three feature films slated for release, Marvel appears to have a packed release schedule.

This slate marks a departure from Disney CEO Bob Iger’s previously announced intentions to scale back on Marvel’s Disney+ output. Nine new Marvel titles are set to hit the streaming platform across the year. Kicking off Marvel’s TV offerings, the animated series ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ will arrive on January 29.
It will be centered around Peter Parker’s first year as Spider-Man. The series promises fresh storylines and new characters, such as Nico Minoru and Amadeus Cho. Moreover, on March 4, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ continues the Netflix legacy with Charlie Cox returning as Matt Murdock.
The show will reunite Cox with familiar foes, including Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. Subsequently, Riri Williams, the young genius first introduced in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, will take center stage on June 24 in ‘Ironheart’. The series highlights Riri’s journey as she continues to refine her high-tech suit and crosses paths with The Hood.
‘Wonder Man’ Will Also Release In 2025
As Marvel’s 2025 calendar continues, August brings the animated series ‘Eyes of Wakanda.’ It will feature a four-episode exploration of the Wakandan War Dogs’ mission to reclaim vibranium artifacts across history. This unique dive into Wakanda’s lore has fans buzzing about potential cameos and historical references.

It will be packed with familiar superheroes now zombified, including Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and Captain Marvel. Moreover, this dark series is expected to push boundaries and deliver a uniquely intense experience for fans.
The last big premiere of 2025 comes in December with ‘Wonder Man’, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man. With a meta-comedic take on Hollywood, ‘Wonder Man’ will explore Simon’s journey from an actor to a superhero. The show is also set to feature Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery.
