Reynolds witnessed firsthand the reaction and joy fans had seeing Snipes back in the iconic role.
Reynolds sees the impact Snipes has playing Blade and realizes there is still more story to tell about the character. Fans are clearly eager to see more of Snipes as Blade as well. With Blade being a fan-favorite Marvel character and Snipes’ version beloved, it is easy to understand Reynolds’ desire to get Snipes back in the trenchcoat.

Reynolds experienced the thunderous applause and cheers Snipes received as he first appeared on screen in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘.
“You could feel the sheer exhilaration and delight rolling off the audience in waves” Reynolds said in a recent interview. “It was incredible being in the theater to witness that and seeing how much fans still adore Wesley in the role after all these years“. Reynolds wants to give fans more of that feeling by getting Snipes back as Blade again.
