‘Ms. Marvel’ is a breath of fresh air for MCU fans and they are loving it. The series is receiving praise from both critics and the audience. They are loving this new take on a superhero story which is rather simple and engaging. Viewers are connecting to this whole idea of a Muslim teenager, who didn’t connect to anyone, finding purpose with her newfound powers. But apparently, not everyone is loving the Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel.
The series recently started getting very bad reviews on IMDb which in turn made the series worst rated Marvel series to date. A particular minority is cherry-picking insignificant parts and trying to make a big issue out of that. The hate has reached such heights that there is a Facebook group solely dedicated to troll the show. The name of the group is ‘Christians Against Ms. Marvel’.
All About The Haters Group Of Ms. Marvel
It looks like the sole purpose of the Facebook group, ‘Christians Against Ms. Marvel’ is to bash the series. The group is a private group with more than 17k followers. The description of the group is just as blunt, citing the following reasons for existing, “Ms Marvel might be the biggest slap in the face for conservative Christians to date!!! Disney has decided that the face of this franchise should not be Carol Danvers but should instead be a gay Muslim. No more straight Christian characters from Marvel. Those days are over. Please join us as we let Disney know that we will not BE CANCELLED!!!”

They are calling Ms. Marvel “a gay Muslim.” But she isn’t gay. Apparently, they are confusing her with America Chavez of Doctor Strange, who is a lesbian. A Google search about the group will find some outlets referring to the group as an “obvious troll group.”

The Group Has Changed Its Name Multiple Times
According to its Facebook history, This group has changed its name multiple times. If one looks at the pattern of the name changes, it becomes clear that it is a propaganda group against Disney company. In last one year alone, the group has targeted Disney releases like The Eternals, Turning Red, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and now their fresh target is Ms. Marvel.
A Facebook user by the name of BleedingCool looked through the group and wrote, “It is, for want of a better phrase, a troll trap. Trying to bait people who do believe the show should be canceled because it has a Muslim lead, but also those who are adamantly against the existence of such a Facebook group and take it at face value. And then the moderators of the group sit back and watch them fight.”
The series is most likely to go on just like any other shows the group targeted before. Currently, this new series by MCU is available on Disney+, and new episodes of the show air every Wednesday.
