On-screen and off-screen, Ryan Reynolds never fails to bring humor to the table. The actor, who is well-known for his sharp humor and lighthearted banter, had his admirers laugh once again with his most recent social media post. However, it’s not a joke about his favorite character Deadpool or other Hollywood celebrities this time. Rather, it’s a more intimate tale about his family, who were major characters in his most recent movie, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine.’
For Reynolds, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ which debuted in cinemas on Friday, July 26, has been a family affair. Along with his children Olin, Betty, and Inez, he also got a few seconds in the spotlight with his spouse Blake Lively, who appeared as Lady Deadpool while wearing a mask. Inez, Reynolds’ 7-year-old daughter, played the part of Kidpool, adding an adorable twist to the movie’s dynamic.

Ryan Reynolds Argues With His 7-Year-Old Daughter On Set
On Thursday, August 1, Reynolds took to X (formerly Twitter) to poke fun at his 7-year-old daughter, Inez. Sharing a movie still of himself as the titular anti-hero facing off against Kidpool, Reynolds humorously captioned the photo: “Only co-star I argued with. Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest. But she’s also pretty good at backtalk and never taking out the trash. #DeadpoolAndWolverine.”
This playful jab at his daughter had fans and followers laughing, showcasing Reynolds’ signature blend of humor and family love.
Arguing with a 7-year-old on set is some next-level parenting (and acting) skills right there! But the fun doesn’t stop with Inez. Reynolds’ just a-year-old son, Olin, made a cameo as Baby Pool, while the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Betty, was humorously credited as the “Hugh Jackman Wrangler: Betty Reynolds” during the movie’s credits.

Reynolds’ Family Fun On The Big Screen
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who also share a 9-year-old daughter named James, have always been open about their love for family and the chaos that comes with it. While promoting the third Deadpool movie, Reynolds hinted at the possibility of expanding their brood.
“The more the merrier,” he quipped to E! News in July. “As many as possible. As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more!”
In an interview with People, Reynolds talked about Betty’s fondness for our very own Wolverine, Hugh Jackman. “I don’t profess that my kids are perfectly behaved. My 4-year-old Betty sort of loves Hugh, like unconditionally. And she expresses that love through unblinking violence. So she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might,” he stated.
