All About ‘The Marvels’ Plot
During a mission for Nick Fury and S.A.B.E.R., Monica Rambeau investigates the jump point perimeter for intel. For some inexplicable reason, a body swap happens, bringing Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in Maria’s place. Soon, they realize that Carol, Kamala, and Monica’s powers have somehow entangled, hence the body switching. Meanwhile, Kamala can barely keep her enthusiasm under wraps.
Forced to team up, the three fight and take on the Kree empire. While saving the world from celestial threats, they must also determine what’s causing their bodies to switch back and forth. The movie might provide an explanation as to how Captain Marvel found herself in Kamala’s room, filled with comic book paraphernalia. Kamala has previously joked about her being related to Thor but with her newly-discovered mutation, she might have a celestial connection after all.
