In addition to the Thunderbolts’ involvement, there have been updates on the production schedules for both Avengers films. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set to begin filming in March 2025 and wrap up in August of the same year.
Whereas, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ is scheduled to start filming in March 2026. According to insider Daniel Richtman, this is done “to give room for the Marvel actors to film other projects in between.” Additionally, ‘Spider-Man 4’ will begin filming in May.

The Russo Brothers are back again to direct the upcoming films ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’ They clarified the production timeline for these highly anticipated projects. During a panel at New York Comic-Con, the brothers revealed that the two films will not be shot back-to-back, contrary to earlier reports.

While they acknowledged that the production schedules will be relatively close, they emphasized that there will be a significant break between the two films. “It’ll be similar, but we’ll have a larger break in between the two movies than we did,” Joe Russo explained. “I think it was four weeks maybe? Was it four weeks between Infinity War and Endgame?”
Anthony Russo added, “I think it was a couple of weeks.” The Russo Brothers clarified that the gap between the two films will be more substantial, likely around a year. This extended timeframe will allow the filmmakers to focus on each project individually. Moreover, it will ensure that both films receive the attention and care they deserve.
