Marvel Studios has rolled out an impressive slate of Disney+ shows over the past couple of years expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe in exciting new ways. However, with recent changes to their output approach, the fates of some popular characters introduced in these shows remain uncertain.
Reliable Marvel scoopers online on X and other platforms have now provided some intriguing updates on what the future may hold for two of the Disney+ MCU shows, ‘Moon Knight’ and ‘Ms. Marvel’, with regards to a second season for both of them.

‘Moon Knight’ Season 2 Is Under Development
According to scoopers, ‘Moon Knight’ season 2 is currently in development at Marvel Studios. This comes as welcome news for fans of Oscar Isaac’s dynamic portrayal of Marc Spector/Steven Grant’s dissociative identity disorder alter-egos.
Moon Knight’s first season left many plot threads unresolved and introduced Jake Lockley, signaling there was clearly more story to tell.
Additional information has revealed ‘Moon Knight‘ will make a return in animated form for season 3 of ‘What If…?’, interacting with heroes like Captain America and Monica Rambeau. This cross-media appearance could help build excitement for a live-action season 2 following the character’s well-received debut.

‘Ms. Marvel’ Season 2 Is Still Under Consideration
According to recent reports, ‘Ms. Marvel’ season 2 is still being discussed internally but is yet to receive an official green light from Marvel. A final decision on the show’s future is said to be coming up soon. With Ms. Marvel positioned as a lead character in ‘The Marvels’ movie, there remains potential demand for her storyline to continue.
However, Marvel Studios’ new reduced output means only a couple of shows a year will get the green light. If season 2 is delayed until 2026, much of the first season’s momentum could be lost.
Fans will have to wait to see if Kamala Khan’s adventures on Disney+ will continue or if her story shifts primarily to the big screen with the onset of the Young Avengers.
