Vincent D’Onofrio, the actor who plays Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, in the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, has revealed that the show will be much more violent than its Netflix predecessor. 

In a recent interview, D’Onofrio hinted at the intensity of the series, leaving fans eager for more. Moreover, the trailer also hinted at a very violent show.

D’Onofrio’s statement has sparked excitement among fans. Daredevil’ fans aren’t strangers to violence. Additionally, with the show’s spin-off on the way they were anticipating a more raw and unfiltered portrayal of the Marvel Comics universe. 

There’s one thing in particular, that my character does, that I can’t believe made it into the cut,” the Kingpin actor stated. This statement is enough to intrigue fans. Furthermore, it suggests that the show will be unapologetic in its depiction of violence. 

This bold approach may be a departure from the previous ‘Daredevil’ which was a “more restrained” version. So fans are eager for the outcome. Moreover, with D’Onofrio’s masterful portrayal of Kingpin, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is poised to be a game-changer.

Sounds like they’re really pushing the envelope this time,” one user on X commented. 

While another fan expressed shock due to the Netflix version also being very violent. “Worse than the car door from S1? I’m impressed,” the fan stated. “This dude is an iconic villain,” another user added. Moreover, the prospect of a more raw and unfiltered portrayal of the Marvel Comics universe has fans salivating.
