Zendaya is one of the most beloved actresses in Hollywood. With over 184 million followers on her Instagram alone. She has been acting since the age of 14, so it is safe to say she is one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood. However, this was not the case for Marvel boss Kevin Feige and product Amu Pascal when they first met her.
In Zendaya’s feature article on Vogue Amy admitted to not knowing who Zendaya was at the time of her casting. She said, “To be honest with you, neither Kevin Feige nor I knew who she was. She was wearing no makeup and she was just dressed like a regular girl, and we were like, ‘Oh my God, she’s amazing.’”
Amy further talked about how she was left in awe of Zendaya’s acting skills despite not knowing who she was. “She has to be in the movie.’ And then we found out she was a totally famous person, and felt really stupid,” the producer added.
Additionally, Zendaya has starred in three Marvel movies alongside her boyfriend Tom Holland. She portrayed the iconic MJ in the three Spider-Man movies. It is also speculated that Zendaya would appear as MJ in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4’
Amy Pascal And Kevin Feige Confirm ‘Spider-Man 4’
After ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ the fourth movie for that franchise was confirmed by Marvel President Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal. “All I will say is that we have the story,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.”
Producer Amy Pascal also confirmed the movie: “Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are. We’re in the process, but the writers strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”
Despite there not being a lot known about ‘Spider-Man 4’ it is speculated that Tom Holland and Zendaya are to star in the movie as their respective characters. Additionally, there has been no release date for the movie as of yet.
