What Will The Story Of World War Hulk Be?
Now that World War Hulk is in talks, the Marvel fanatics are contemplating the possible plotline. One of the possibilities for Hulk’s hypothetical solo movie is a live-action adaptation of Marvel Comics ‘World War Hulk’ storyline, which follows Hulk as he seeks revenge on the Illuminati for banishing him from Earth. On Instagram, a digital artist @marvels.wolverine posted a poster for the MCU’s World War Hulk poster could look like, with Mark Ruffalo reprising his dual role as both Bruce Banner and Hulk, along with Hugh Jackman in a supporting role as Wolverine.
‘World War Hulk‘ deals with the dark past of the character, Hulk. Marvel Studios has taken a long time in bringing out a Hulk movie and this seems to put the fans in doubt about how well the movie is going to come out. According to the comics, the Hulk in this movie would be more rage-driven and would return to Earth seeking revenge. The plot will also look into Hulk’s personal life and childhood trauma, concerning his son, dead wife, and abusive father, Brian Banner.

Why Is Hulk Getting A Second Film A Huge Deal?
As ‘The Incredible Hulk’ was not a huge success, its importance in the MCU degraded hence losing on a solo trilogy like Captain America and Iron Man. However, Universal’s ownership of Hulk’s distribution rights for several years limited Marvel’s potential earnings, which raised the threshold for profit, and in turn, raised the risk of underperformance at the box office. So, instead of gambling on Hulk solo movies during the MCU’s early years, Marvel relied on the properties they had the full rights to that paid off throughout the Infinity Saga.
The Multiverse Saga’s increased output has also disguised the MCU’s lack of Hulk-centered content, as sequels, spinoffs, shows, and a variety of new and old MCU characters have taken center stage since Phase Four. The series does hint at showcasing the specifics of Bruce Banner and his untold past. Thus this would be paving the way for the next solo Hulk movie. It can be assumed that this is why the makers of ‘World War Hulk’ would introduce a new perspective.
