Who Is The Living Tribunal?
The Living Tribunal manifests itself as a humanoid with three faces, each of these faces represents the three sides of its personality. The front face is used for his speech and it represents equality. The face on its right side represents necessity, it remains completely hooded. The half-hooded face on its left expresses just revenge. Tribunal has three distinct voices which must agree with each other before they act in a situation. The fourth side is a void that represents the absence of the cosmic entity called the Stranger that was once part of him.
Doctor Strange was the first Marvel hero he encountered in 1967. He then appeared before the Fantastic Four, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and many others. Tribunal also teamed up with DC Comics’ Spectre to save both the Marvel and DC Multiverses from destruction in the DC vs. Marvel event series. Its powers can even nullify the combined Infinity Stones, now you know that he is indeed a pretty big deal.

What Are His Roles In MCU?
THE LIVING TRIBUNAL gave us his first glimpse in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘. If you look too hard you can even make out the shape of the Living Tribunal’s three giant yellow heads in the film as Stephen Strange and America Chavez crash through multiple worlds. Being the Judge of multiple realities, he had to appear in movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where people were messing with the realities.
The Infinity war writers also revealed that the Tribunal nearly appeared in that film, to render judgment on Thanos. Not only this but in the first Doctor Strange film Mordo bore a weapon named “The Staff of the Living Tribunal”. All these hints might be for something big. It’s highly likely that Tribunal has a bigger role to play in future MCU projects. Let’s just wait and watch it all unfold.
