Will Tom Holland Play Spider-Man Again?
Recently, The Illuminerdi broke the silence on whether Tom Holland will reprise his role in ‘Spider-Man: Freshman Year‘ or not. According to the report, he won’t be reprising his role in the animated series. However, it still remains unknown whether the other cast members from the live-action ‘Spider-Man‘ films will also reprise their roles in the series or not.
After the absence of Holland from an episode of ‘What If…?’ in which the character made an appearance, it looks like the news is true. Hudson Thames voiced Spider-Man there and will likely reprise his role again in ‘Freshman Year‘. However, there has been no confirmation from Marvel yet, so there’s still some ray of hope left for the fans. Some official updates about the project may be revealed soon when Marvel Studios has its animation panel.
What The Actor Said About Reprising His Role
When Holland was asked in an interview whether he would like to reprise his role or not, the actor replied, “I have had such an amazing run as Spider-Man, if it is my time to step down and the next lucky kid is going to step up, I will do so proudly.”
He added, “I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve as the character, so if it is time then I will do it with my head held high, but if not, I will play this character forever because I love it.”
