It appears that Ryan Reynolds is not only one of Hollywood’s best actors but also a great writer. ‘It Ends With Us’ is based on Colleen Hoover’s book. And one fan-favorite scene from the book has been adapted for the movie. Blake Lively revealed that this scene was written by husband Ryan Reynolds.
The scene in question depicts Lively’s character Lily first meeting Justin Baldoni’s Ryle on a rooftop. The start of their romance which would later turn sour. Lively revealed to E! News, “The iconic rooftop scene, my husband actually wrote it. Nobody knows that, but you now.” She added, “He works on everything I do.” Lively said, “I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his.”

Justin Baldoni Steps Into Director’s Shoes With ‘It Ends With Us’
Not only is the 40-year-old actor playing one of the lead characters in the movie, Justin Baldoni has also stepped into the shoes of a director for it. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Baldoni talked about the fan disappointment regarding the movie.
“It didn’t really bother me because the fact that they were talking about it was a beautiful thing.” He added, “If nobody talks about your book adaptation, then I feel like that’s more of a problem. Then we should be worried.” Baldoni also revealed that it was author Hoover herself who convinced Baldoni to take the part of Ryle.
