Storyline Of ‘Bridget Jones: ‘Mad About The Boy‘
‘Bridget Jones: ‘Mad About The Boys’ will follow the life of Bridget Jones as a 51-year-old single mother and a widow. She navigates her life with the challenges of modern dating and social media.
In the third part of the movie, Jones marries Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and they raise their son Billy together. But tragically, Darcy is killed in a landmine in Sudan in the book’s third part. Jones is now left alone with her two children as they also have a second child named, Mabel.
The upcoming movie is most likely to revolve around Hugh Grant’s character Daniel Cleaver’s re-entry into Jones’ life. Cleaver is the main antagonist throughout the book series. According to ‘Mad About The Boy’ publisher, the book is about Bridget navigating “head lice epidemics, school-picnic humiliations, and cross-generational sex”. Moreover, “she learns that life isn’t over when you start needing reading glasses—and why one should never, ever text while drunk.” So, we can expect some embarrassing and witty moments, wrapped in an endearing story.
