Daniel Radcliffe has finally opened up about the strangest souvenir he carried home after filming ‘Harry Potter‘, and it’s far more bizarre than fans might expect.
The actor admitted that he has taken home quite a few props over the years, but one particular item still stands out as the weirdest of them all. While many might assume he kept something heroic or magical, Radcliffe revealed it’s kind of creepy.
The Bizarre Prop That Daniel Radcliffe Took From ‘Harry Potter’ Set

In an interview with Collider, Radcliffe reflected on his nearly three decades in the entertainment industry and the keepsakes he collected along the way. Speaking about leading the eight-film ‘Harry Potter‘ franchise, he confirmed that he was allowed to keep a few memorable pieces from the set.

One particular item came from 2002’s ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘. In the film, Professor Gilderoy Lockhart, played by Kenneth Branagh, attempts to fix Harry’s broken arm after a Quidditch accident. Instead of healing it, he accidentally removes all the bones, leaving Harry’s arm limp and rubbery in one of the movie’s most unforgettable scenes.
Radcliffe revealed that the production team let him take home the prosthetic arm used for that sequence, and he gladly accepted it. He admitted he had “some weird s–t from Potter” that he really liked, specifically referencing the floppy prop from that bone-removal moment. It may sound bizarre, but for him, it’s a memorable piece of movie history.

While that unusual prop may be the strangest item in his collection, Radcliffe also shared that he owns two pairs of Harry Potter’s iconic round glasses. One pair is from 2001’s ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone‘, marking the beginning of his journey, and the other is from 2011’s ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2‘, symbolizing its end.

“I think I’ve got two pairs of Harry Potter glasses, actually. One from the beginning and one from the end,” he said. He then joked, “And they’re not at my house, so don’t come and rob me. They’re safe somewhere else.” Beyond Hogwarts, Radcliffe admitted he has collected more souvenirs throughout his career. He used to keep his characters’ ID cards after filming wrapped, and several pairs of shoes worn on set have also ended up in his personal stash.
He didn’t even shy away from the confession either. “What I’m saying is yes, I’ve stolen quite a lot over the years,” he quipped. Well, Radcliffe certainly stole hearts as the Boy Who Lived.
