Doc Brown’s past played an important role in the working of all the movies included in the ‘Back To Future‘ trilogy. Though ‘Untold Tales’ and ‘Alternate Timelines‘ throw light on Doc’s past and his involvement in the project, it also highlights the fact that DeLorean runs on nuclear power since he might have helped work on the atom bombs.

Part II showed an alternate timeline where Biff Tanen turned Hill Valley into a sin city and even murdered Marty’s father and married his mother while sending Doc to a psychiatric ward. Despite Doc and Marty’s efforts to undo everything, lightning strikes, which affects both Doc and DeLoreon.
