All We Know About ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’
The 5th part of the ‘Avengers‘ franchise, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, is set to release on May 27, 2027, and fans are speculating what it might mean for the MCU characters. Although we are unsure of the exact casting, fan’s expectations are loud and clear.
Though many believe Ryan Coogler, director of ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, will direct the movie, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ filmmaker Shawn Levy was also speculated as a possible director of ‘Avengers 5‘ the year before. No director has been confirmed as of yet.
“When we were doing Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3, there were [fewer] projects over more years,” MCU President Kevin Feige previously explained of the six-year gap between ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ and the next ‘Avengers’ movie.
“They were smaller projects and individual character stories, and it felt appropriate at that point, that after every two or three years that it took for a phase, we would do an Avengers film,” he said.
While the fans still have a long wait ahead of them before the film releases, they can keep looking out for official confirmations to get more clarity about the highly anticipated film.
