After several adaptations across television and film, ‘Charlie’s Angels‘ remains a pop-culture staple, and recent buzz suggests Sony could be exploring a new reboot that connects the franchise’s past with a fresh generation of Angels.
Now, Lucy Liu has sparked interest in the possibility of reuniting with her former co-stars Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, sharing what it might actually take to bring the iconic Angels back together.

Even though more than twenty years have passed since the original film premiered, Liu says her connection with Barrymore and Diaz remains strong. Despite balancing motherhood and demanding careers, the actresses still make time to catch up.
In fact, Liu revealed they recently spent time together in New York. “We just had lunch together not long ago, and it was just one of the most special times we could all get together in New York and do it,” she recalled.
The Angels’ Friendship Is Still Going Strong

When asked whether another Charlie’s Angels adventure could eventually happen again, Liu kept her answer playful and open-ended. “Let’s see,” she said. “I mean, there’s always an ellipses.”
After all, the future always leaves room for possibilities. Liu’s remarks come as rumors circulate that Barrymore is exploring a return to ‘Charlie’s Angels‘. For now, however, there has been no official confirmation about a new film.
With nostalgia for the early-2000s trio still strong among fans, talk of a reunion appearance, cameo, or a reboot continues to spark excitement about what the future of the franchise could hold.
