Margot Robbie recently shared that she watched ‘Wuthering Heights‘ with her close group of friends. Instead of a public screening, she decided to keep it private and invite them over.
The night did not go the way she expected. When Robbie later spoke about the screening, she hinted that things quickly got out of hand.
Margot Robbie Reveals Details Of Her “Unhinged” ‘Wuthering Heights’ Screening
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Margot Robbie revealed that she hosted a private screening of ‘Wuthering Heights‘ for her friends. The screening took place on a Wednesday night and included around 20 women from her close circle.

At first, the plan was very simple. Everyone gathered to enjoy the movie, and soon after the film began, the mood in the room changed.
Robbie shared that her friends were already a couple of drinks in, and that energy carried straight into the screening as reactions started coming in quickly. They went sort of feral over the leading man, Jacob Elordi.
As the movie played on, the reactions grew stronger. Robbie described the screening as “the most unhinged experience” of her life and said it was also “the funnest Wednesday” she has ever had.

Robbie explained that there was constant commentary throughout the film. Her friends screamed at different moments, talked over scenes, and cried openly during emotional parts. According to Robbie, the women were “frothing at the mouth” and behaved like “rabid dogs.”

Even so, Robbie made it clear she enjoyed watching the film that way. Seeing such raw reactions from people she knows well made the night feel memorable, even if it was far from a normal movie watch.
Later in the conversation, Robbie joked that it was a good thing her co-star Jacob Elordi did not attend the screening. She laughed while imagining what might have happened if he had walked into the room mid-screening. “If he walked in right now, I think they would eat him,” Robbie said after how intense things got.
