Taylor Swift showered praise on Zoe Kravitz‘s directional debut, ‘Blink Twice‘, on social media. The crime thriller stars Channing Tatum, Kravitz’s fiance, as Slater King. Taylor in her review of the film let in a good word for the Warner Bros. production. The film was released in cinemas on 23 August 2024. Taylor lauded how Zoe’s hard work which resulted in a “Thrilling, twisted, wickedly funny, and visually stunning” film.
In her shoutout, Taylor also added a trigger warning for the content of sexual violence and mature themes that might be triggering to some viewers. Kravitz appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Falon’ on Thursday, and related that she recently attended Taylor’s ‘Eras Tour’ with Tatum. Taylor included fellow singer, Sabrina Carpenter, in her Instagram story, praising her latest album ‘Short n’ Sweet’.

Taylor Swift Is “Blown Away” By Zoe Kravitz’s New Film
The ‘Lover’ singer is proud of Zoe’s first step in her directional career. “I’m so blown away by what she’s accomplished here,” she wrote on her Instagram story. Taylor gave the thumbs-up to her friend’s directional debut. On Friday she wrote, “This film is incredible. Thrilling, twisted, wickedly funny, and visually stunning. The performances are phenomenal.” Taylor also included a trigger warning. The film is rated R for strong violence content.
Taylor praised the film’s director in her story, “Zoe Kravitz conceptualized this, wrote it, obsessed over every detail, and directed it with such a clear and bold vision.” The plot involves an eccentric billionaire, Slater King (Channing Tatum), who asks cocktail waitress, Frieda on a dream vacation to an island. All vacation and party atmosphere vanishes into horror when strange events start to take place and Freida has to figure out how to make it out alive.

Taylor Swift Always Supports Her Girls
Taylor always has her friends’ back. The ‘Bad Blood’ singer loved Zoe’s directional skills so she invited everyone to watch ‘Blink Twice’. “I can’t wait to watch everyone discover this film and this brilliant filmmaker.” Taylor also included Sabrina Carpenter in her Instagram story for her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ album. The ‘Blank Space’ singer wrote, “Short. Sweet. Has made an extraordinary album. Go support our girl!!”
Meanwhile, Zoe put in some good words for the beloved singer. On Thursday, the director appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. There she related to the host, “What is weirder to me, actually, is that after she performs for however many thousands of people, she just comes over after and we, like, drink some wine, eat a burger, and hang out.” She added, “You would just never know that she’d just performed at Wembley.”
