A new face is added to the Fast and Furious family! Academy Award winner and Marvel star, Brie Larson will play the mystery character in the upcoming ‘Fast and Furious‘ film, ‘Fast X‘. Since 2001, the Fast and Furious gang has been entertaining the fans on screen with their crazy car stunts, money heists, the boys club, and smart female characters. Ever since the first film, the cast has been expanding and welcoming new characters.
After saving the world alongside the Avengers, Brie Larson will now be seen joining hands with Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto. In 2022 Larson revealed that she will be playing Tess in the upcoming Fast X on Instagram. Later she also described Tess as a rogue character filled with endless mystery.

Brie Larson Reveals Details About Her ‘Fast X’ Character
Brie Larson revealed that she will be playing Tess in ‘Fast X‘ in 2022, which left fans wondering how is Tess connected to Dom’s gang. Surprisingly the connection runs deep than one could ever think as Larson spills beans about her character’s connection. In an exclusive interview with Total Film, Larson said that Tess is actually the daughter of Mr.Nobody (played by Kurt Russell). She also revealed how the character will be connected to the gang.
“Tess is Mr. Nobody’s daughter. She is technically Agency, but she’s kind of a bridge, in a way. She doesn’t go along with the way that the Agency’s headed now that her father isn’t there. She believes in the legacy that her father set up, which is standing with Dom and standing with the Toretto family, and is fighting for that. Dom knows that she has a strong mind and definitely respects that she’s gone out of her way to talk to him and wants to build trust. What he asks of Tess is a test. Like, if it’s an impossible task, and she can get it done, then that’s family for life.” said Larson.
Moreover, the origin of Brie Larson’s character is inspired by Vin Diesel’s eight-year-old daughter Paulina (named after Paul Walker), who was wearing a Good Vibes Only jacket when they met, which prompted Larson to wear the same jacket in the film. It is an uproarious connection since the movie is all about street racing, family, and the occasional heist, and an adorable kid is an inspiration behind Tess who will show her loyalty towards Dom’s gang.

Who Is Mr. Nobody In The ‘Fast And Furious’ Franchise?
Brie Larson revealed that her character Tess is the daughter of Mr. Nobody, who was loyal to Dom and the Toretto family. The agency enigma was first introduced in ‘Furious 7‘. He was a government agent and covert operative seen in ‘Fast and Furious 7‘, the ‘Fate of the Furious‘ and ‘F9: the Fast Saga‘ – in which he helped Seoul-Oh fake his own death. At the beginning of ‘F9: the Fast Saga‘ he met a tragic fate when his plane crashed in Montecito after capturing Cipher.
Mr. Nobody’s body was never recovered. And if Hollywood has thought us one thing that is never to believe unless you see the body! Mr. Nobody is a friendly man, who is forward with his intentions when he chooses to partner up with Dom’s crew to stop Mose Jakande. He fancies Belgian ale and proves himself truth-worthy and is deemed to be the man of his word.
