Harry Styles Found Taylor Swift Writing Songs About Him Flattering
After Taylor Swift and Harry Styles parted ways in 2013, the former released music alluding to their relationship. In 2014, she released three songs titled ‘Style,’ ‘Out of the Woods,’ and ‘Wonderland.’ During ‘The Howard Stern Show,’ Harry Styles addressed the songs that the artist wrote for him. He also admitted that someone writing songs about others and vice versa is flattering.
During the interview, Harry Styles said, “I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it’s like flattering, even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it.” He admired Taylor Swift, saying, “she’s a great songwriter. So at least they’re good songs.”
The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ crooner continued, “The only time you really think, ‘is this song too personal?’ is if you think about, ‘is this going to be really annoying for the other person?’ Because I do [care].”

The Artist Reminiscences Good Times Dating The Pop Star
Though the relationship ran its course, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift had a good time with one another. The testimony to it is when Harry Styles spoke in retrospect about the relationship he had with Taylor. During the Rolling Stone interview, he opened up about dating Taylor.
In the interview, he referred to the Central Park pictures, saying, “When I see photos from that day, I think: Relationships are hard, at any age. And adding in that you don’t really understand exactly how it works when you’re 18, trying to navigate all that stuff didn’t make it easier.”
He continued, “I mean, you’re a little bit awkward to begin with. You’re on a date with someone you really like. It should be that simple, right? It was a learning experience for sure. But at the heart of it ā I just wanted it to be a normal date.”
