She has been much loved for her collaborations with rap artists like Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Offset, and others. She has also performed rap in her 2018 song ‘Apes**t’. Now, rapper Trina has caused a stir and war between fans since she labeled the pop star as the Queen of Rap. While she had people criticizing her, Bobby Lytes has come in defense of the Atlanta-based rapper.

Bobby Lytes Defends Trina For Choosing Beyoncé Over Other Female Rappers
Recently, during an interview with HipHopDX, rapper Trina caused a stir by crowning Beyoncé as the queen of rap. In the interview, she was asked about the new female rappers emerging on the scene. The rapper answered, “Yeah, Beyoncé ‘cause she’s like the number one female rapper when she does rap.”
Trina continued, “It’s just one of those things like of course this is the Queen Beyoncé, but when you hear her do a song and it’s rapping involved, it’s like, ‘Oh my God,’ like it just, it’s more inspiration and, um, I don’t know it’s just a good thing, man.”
The statement caused stan wars on the internet as Trina neglected Nicki Minaj and Cardi B when she declared Beyoncé as the queen of rap. Now, Bobby Lytes, the ‘House of Villians’ contestant, has come in defense of the rapper. During a live on Instagram, Bobby defended Trina by revealing the reasoning behind her choosing Beyoncé.
Bobby Lytes said, “She did that to just– for this same reason,” he said in part. “Her saying Beyoncé was a light-hearted answer. But it was also for her to stay true to what she likes and who inspires her. Boom! Case closed.”
Bobby also said that the ‘Pull Over’ rapper is entitled to her opinion, and she does not need to “kiss anybody’s a**.” Without taking names, the TV personality took a dig at Barbz as they had been critical of Trina’s opinion.

The Rapper Lashed Out At Critics
Trina took to Instagram to take down the critics over her opinion that Beyoncé is the queen of rap. She uploaded a story on Instagram, writing, “For the dusty crusty funky b***hes in the bacccckkkk. Beyoncé is the queen of rap (when she raps) and ALL other genres of music. Now stay mad goofy’s I said what I said and NANN b***h gone check me. Carry on.”
Trina also posted a lengthy Instagram message to the critics, upholding her opinion. The rapper wrote, “I said what I said .. that’s the Queen Bey and I’m gonna STAN on that Beyonce is the Queen of rap (when she raps) and ALL genres of music when it comes to me!! Go argue with the IRS or somebody else idc…and that’s not up for debate over here.”
