The music industry is shocked at another untimely demise of an artist. After the news of the death of the rapper Takeoff, the lead drummer of The Dead Kennedys, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, D.H. Peligro, the music industry is mourning the death of Aaron Carter. The former reality TV star and musician who started his career at an early age died at the age of 34.
Aaron Carter was the brother of the hit boy band Backstreet Boys’ member Nick Carter. A spokesperson informed, “It is with great regret to confirm Aaron Carter was found unresponsive this AM in his home in Palmdale, CA.” So, who was Aaron Carter? What was the reason for his death?

Who Was Aaron Carter?
The young member of the Carter family, Aaron had his fame at a very young age. He started performing and making music in the ’90s. The Florida resident opened for Britney Spears and performed with Backstreet Boys along with his brother. However, in his music career, he acquired fame with his Sophomore album ‘Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)’ when he was merely 13 years old. The album got 3x platinum status. In 2001, he won the Kids Choice Award for ‘Favorite Rising Star’.
He also dabbled in the reality TV space when he was featured in E! ‘House of Carters’. In 2009, he participated in the dancing reality show for celebrities ‘Dancing With Stars’. The ‘I Want Candy’ artist was also a part of a Broadway musical titled ‘Who in Seussical the Musical’. Its debut on stage was in 2000. The play won a Tony Award nomination. His last studio album ‘LOVE’ was released in 2018.

What Was The Cause Of His Death?
At 11.00 A.M., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a medical emergency call from Lancaster. The officials could not recognize that the deceased person was Aaron Carter. The artist was reported to be ‘found dead in his bathtub’. The family did not share the reason of death.
The representative also added in the statement, “The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles. Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family.”
The rapper indulged in substance abuse. Due to his drug problem, he was arrested for possessing drugs. In 2017, he entered the rehabilitation center following a DUI. Due to this problem, he canceled his ‘LOVE’ tour following the prioritization of his health. In 2021, he and his fiancée Melanie welcomed their child Prince Lyric. But, his love and family life suffered due to his abuse problem. But, in September 2022, he re-entered rehab for his son.
Melanie Martin gave a statement post Aaron’s death. It read, “We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”
