“I Wish People Would Not Give Her A Hard Time”: Miley Cyrus Praises Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan’s rise to fame came with its own share of cons. The pop star has been dragged multiple times in controversies surrounding her reluctance to deal with fans’ unkind behavior.

As she continues to deal with her stardom, another pop star is giving her defense and a piece of wisdom. Here’s how Miley Cyrus defended Chappell Roan after the latter got criticized for setting boundaries with fans.

Chappell Roan is being looked after by Miley Cyrus as the pop star defended the ‘Casual’ singer against trolls who hated on her for calling out fans’ creepy behavior.

“I wish people would not give her a hard time,” Cyrus said to Harper’s Bazaar and then added, “It’s probably really hard coming into this business with phones and Instagram. That wasn’t always a part of my life, and I’m not a part of it now.”

Roan has in the past talked about how many pop girls reached out to her while she was going through a tough time, and though she did not specifically mention Miley, it seems that the ‘Flowers‘ singer too extended her love towards Roan.

“But what’s so reassuring and so f—ing sick is — the pop girls that you and I have loved our whole lives or have been f—ing stans [of] the past two or three years — a lot of them have reached out and are so supportive and girl’s girls,” she said on TikTok.

Rising on after her album ‘The Rise And Fall Of A Midwestern Princess,’ Roan has quickly made a big name for herself in the industry as one of the leading pop girls. After opening for Olivia Rodrigo in her ‘SOUR‘ tour, performing on SNL, Fallon, and the VMAs, and gaining six nominations at the 2025 Grammys, the pop princess has been on fire.

Apart from her performances, the singer has also been an advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ community, and women, and artists to have the right to privacy. As of now, she’s readying up for a glittering Grammy, hoping to take home a handful, hopefully.
