Taylor Swift is currently touring with her new ‘Eras Tour,’ and the fans have received many Easter eggs already! After the Atlanta concert, the bands given to the fans turned purple, signifying the release of the next re-recorded album, and it is ‘Speak Now,’ which is a special one for Tay Tay and Swifties.

Taylor Swift re-recorded ‘Fearless’ and ‘Red.’ She is re-releasing the albums as ‘Taylor’s Version.’ It is because her first record label, Big Machine Records, sold all her music to Scooter Braun in 2019. The music manager sold her masters to Shamrock Capital without giving her the option to buy the music rights to her records. So, the third ‘Taylor’s Version’ album in line is ‘Speak Now.’

On May 5, 2023, Taylor Swift started her Nashville leg of the Eras Tour. During the concert, she teased, “I think rather than me speaking about it, I thought I would just show you.” Taylor continued, “So, if you would direct your attention to the back, big screen that we have.” The screen flashed, “Speak Now. Taylor’s Version. Available July 7.” The fans lost their calm when she announced the news.

‘Speak Now’ was the first commercial hit of Taylor Swift in her career. It sold one million copies in its debut week. It had bops like ‘Mean,’ ‘Story of Us,’ ‘Enchanted,’ and others. The artiste even won two Grammy Awards for ‘Mean.’ Taylor tweeted, writing, “I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness.”

What screams Taylor Swift without hinting at her? Easter Eggs! Swifties, since time immemorial, have been deciphering the hints that the ‘folklore’ artist has been dropping. So, it was no different when Swift wanted to have the big reveal about her next re-record. In April, during her Tampa stop, she said, “I’ve been thinking a lot about one of my albums recently. One of my albums has been on my mind a lot… Lots going on in my brain about it.”

In the ‘Bejeweled’ video from her new album ‘Midnight,’ Taylor Swift featured instrumentation from ‘Enchanted’ and ‘Long Live.’  In the video, there is an elevator in a 13-story building. She presses the third button, indicating that her third album that was ‘Speak Now,’ will be released in a re-recorded version. She also adorned her hair with clips having the initials ‘SN’ in the music video.
