“Mental Illness On Full Display”: Travis Kelce’s Dad Reacts To Kanye West Mentioning His Son And Taylor Swift In New Song

American rapper Kanye West recently released his new album, Vulture 2, and it has already sparked a new controversy. The ‘I Wonder‘ singer mentioned the pop singer, Taylor Swift, and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce in one of his songs. And Ed Kelce, the NFL player’s father is not enthusiastic about the West’s stunt.

Fans have witnessed the long feud between the singers since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift in the middle of her acceptance speech. Now the ‘Heartless‘ singer has dragged Taylor’s love life into the public feud. Ed Kelce, who is good friends with Taylor, took to Facebook to rebuke the rapper’s actions.

Ed Kelce soon after the release of Kanye West’s album, Vulture 2, took to social media to express his disapprobation. The father of the tight-end player wrote a scathing comment on Facebook over his son’s mention in the rapper’s song, Lifestyle. “Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote on Facebook.

The lyrics from West’s song say, “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.” The song, featuring Lil Wayne, has reignited the long-standing feud between the singers. Swifties believe that Ed was referring to Kanye’s well-known troubles with bipolar disorder.

Taylor Swift has been a victim of Kanye’s diss since she was a teenager. So far, the ‘Lover ‘singer has made no explicit comment on West’s new release. However, Swifties believe that Taylor has subtly addressed the issue in her concert in Poland. The singer wore a T-shirt that read, “I BET YOU THINK ABOUT ME” which could refer to a 2021 song believed to be about West.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has not addressed the issue. The tight-end player has been focusing on his practice that started in July. Kelce had decided to spend some time with the singer in Vienna after the attacks in her concert’s festival. But Taylor advised him to stay and continue his practice.
