Ever since her hit song ‘APT‘ came out, Blackpink’s Rosé has been tasting sweet success. The K-pop star opened up about what it’s like to work in the industry, along with revealing how Taylor Swift looked out for her while they met.
Rosé has been working on her solo career after taking a hiatus from the band, and has been often seen with the big names of Hollywood. Here’s how Taylor Swift gave her a piece of good advice and why Rosé thinks the artist is a girl’s girl.
Here’s What Advice Taylor Swift Gave To Rosé
In a cover story interview with I-D just a few weeks before the release of ‘Rosie‘, Rosé’s debut album, the BLACKPINK member talked about the bond she formed with Taylor Swift while at a New York City hangout. She remembered introducing herself to Swift, saying, “I told her I’m such a huge fan, and I just had some questions.” To this, Swift replied, “‘Spill, let me help you out.'”
“I’m really grateful for her because I was at a moment where I was drowning a little,” Rosé added. “She is literally the coolest, and she’s such a girl’s girl. She was telling me—make sure to take care of this, this, and this—like logistics. She was trying to protect me,” the singer said.

“Me becoming solo, being independent—it’s not an easy thing. There are a lot of things I should be careful with, and she gave me a rundown on all the things I have to look out for. That was the coolest part—she’s killed it in the game, and she was kind enough to walk me through,” she added.
The Korean star later added that they even exchanged numbers, saying, “She gave me her experiences and was so ready to help me. She gave me her number and she’s like, ‘Let me know if you have any questions.’ Who does that? Like, you’re Taylor Swift!”
