‘Reacher‘ star Alan Ritchson was caught on camera repeatedly punching and kicking his neighbor during what should have been a quiet Sunday afternoon in an upscale Nashville suburb.
The incident quickly turned into a viral spectacle, and now the man on the receiving end, Ronnie Taylor, has revealed how a simple request to “slow it down” escalated to a heated confrontation that unfolded in front of Ritchson’s two young sons.
Motorcycle Noise Complaint Triggers Tension in Brentwood

Taylor, an experienced motorcycle rider who has lived in Brentwood for years, said he did not recognize the actor at first. He told TMZ that it started on Saturday morning, March 21, with the constant sound of engines tearing through the quiet neighborhood.

“I’d heard this incessant revving and speeding throughout our neighborhood, of the motorcycle,” Taylor recounted, adding, “I’m an experienced motorcycle rider. I’ve been riding for most of my life.“
He also stressed that “there were numerous people in my neighborhood who had caught all of this on Ring doorbells of him speeding through the neighborhood.”
When Taylor finally saw the rider from a distance, he called out, “Guy, can you just slow it down, please?” The neighbor insisted that it was meant casually, not as a confrontation, but as a simple request for safety. However, the tension did not end there and simmered overnight.
Heated Confrontation Escalates Into Physical Altercation

The next day, Sunday, Taylor said he was outside cleaning his motorcycle when Ritchson rode past and then came around again. He disclosed, “On the second time, I walked out in front of him, and I said, ‘You’ve got to stop, someone is going to get hurt.’”

According to Taylor, that is when Ritchson got off the bike and attacked him. “I did push him because he was coming towards me on his bike. He did it again for a second time. I pushed him a second time, and I think the second time he got off his bike and kicked the crap outta me,” he said.
Police Report Filed as Investigation Remains Ongoing

Video obtained by TMZ shows the 43-year-old star, known for his imposing build in the Amazon Prime Series ‘Reacher,‘ standing over Taylor and throwing several punches to his head and face while Taylor curls up on the ground trying to protect himself. Ritchson’s two sons, who were nearby on dirt bikes, can be seen watching as the motorcycle falls over.
Taylor later told police that he was punched in the face and kicked, leaving him with bruises and swelling. He filed a report, but no arrests have been made as of now.
