Actress Camila Mendes had a slow-burning overnight success. In the 2017 hit CW show ‘Riverdale’ she played Veronica Lodge. Since then, her career skyrocketed. She is featured in music videos and recently, she starred alongside Maya Hawke and Sophie Turner in the Netflix film ‘Strangers’.
The Brazilian actress has had quite a few relationships during her career span. The strongest and most talked about was with her ‘Riverdale’ co-star Charles Melton, who played Reggie Mantle in the series. Ian Wallace
The well-kept secret relationship of Camila Mendes was with a New York-based editor and cinematographer Ian Wallace. The two dated each other between 2013 and 2017. In September 2016, as they celebrated their third anniversary, Mendes penned a beautiful message for him on Instagram.
She wrote, “Three Years with this charmer. Grateful for the endless inspiration and unconditional love that you give me. I love you so much, Ian Wallace, and I am lucky to fully experience just how rare and special you are. Happy Anniversary, love.”
The two parted ways after their anniversary, but Wallace still has her photos on his Instagram from September 2017. It was not clear whether they were dating at that point when she started with ‘Riverdale’.
Victor Houston
During the summer of 2018, the ‘Coyote Lake’ star confirmed dating Victor Houston at BeautyCon in Los Angeles. She said on the red carpet, “I can confirm, sure, I don’t care. Sorry guys.” However, the two were dating months before they came out in the open about their relationship. But, the two go way back when they attended neighboring high schools in the Florida area.
In July, Victor took it to his Instagram when the two celebrated her birthday in the Hamptons. He posted two adorable pictures. Victor captioned one picture as “Happy birthday, beautiful”. And the other as “Baby”. In an interview, she gushed about her beau that it’s great to have someone who is not an actor. But, the love fizzled out in July 2018 leaving Houston “heartbroken”.

Charles Melton
Shortly after the breakup with Victor, rumors started surfacing about the Riverdale co-actors Camila Mendes and Charles Melton dating. In August 2018, during Labor Day weekend, Camila shared a picture with her friends on a boat. In the picture, Camila and Melton both were seen cozying up which led to the speculations.

In December 2018, she gave an interview on FoxNews about her new projects and her recent fame. Upon asking about the picture she said, “I did it because people were speculating. I want to be able to live a normal life. Like, ‘Yeah, I’m dating this person — so what?’ But I am the kind of person who’ll keep talking and then all of a sudden, I’ve said too much. Still, I want to be able to kiss him and not think about it.”
They were still strong in 2019. But, by the end of the year, E! reported that the couple is “taking a break” from their relationship. The report said, “Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves.” Both Camila and Melton were busy shooting their other respective projects.
Grayson Vaughan
After two years of a strong relationship, Camila got into the dating pool again in the summer of 2020. There is not much that was said and printed about the relationship of Camila with the photographer Grayson Vaughan. In September 2020, she posted a PDA-induced picture with the caption, “That long-distance kind of love.”
However, in March 2021, Mendes and Vaughan parted ways amicably without “any drama” as reported by E!
Rudy Mancuso
Love is in the air for Mendes! On November 8th, 2022, Camila gave her fans an update on her life. The multiple pictures post included two very special pictures. One was a man playing with a fluff, adorable dog and the other was a reflection selfie. The mystery man in the post is none other than Rudy Mancuso, her co-star in ‘Música’. In the post, fans and her friends are celebrating the union.
