Could Glorio Be Demon Royalty In ‘Dragon Ball DAIMA’?

In the interesting storyline of ‘Dragon Ball DAIMA’, the audience is introduced to Glorio. He is a thoughtful gunman who somehow finds himself immersed in the complicated politics of the Demon Realm and works for the Third King. 

He wants the liquidation of King Gomah by Goku. But through the progression of the story, teasing clues appear to tell otherwise. Glorio may not just be an ordinary soldier in the Third Demon Realm. Perhaps, he is a royalty figure.

Suspicion Surrounds Glorio’s True Nature

From the beginning, Glorio shows an element that is utterly against all people in the Third Demon Realm. Despite declaring himself as a servant to the Third King, his power as well as technical expertise does not seem common. It is unusual at least for an ordinary soldier from this world.

That’s why the Supreme Kai, Shin, gets suspicious very quickly. He realized that the persona and skills of Glorio reflect a much more hidden, dark history. This is driven home in Episode In this episode, Glorio demonstrates not only physical prowess. He also demonstrates a strange familiarity with the nuances of the Demon Realm. 

This points to something being deeper than it seems. His intentions and motivations are obscure. This makes the character really interesting. His loyalty and his end are all ambiguous.

Goku’s Impact On Glorio’s Stoic Nature

Goku’s childish antics often bring out the stoic nature of Glorio. This is most likely due to his sheltered upbringing. The class tensions between Glorio and Shin are palpable. Glorio openly despises those of higher status in the Second Demon Realm. This animosity raises questions about his true origins.

If Glorio truly hails from the Third Realm, his impressive weaponry and strength might be indicative of a hidden lineage. This could tie him to the upper echelons of demon society. Further, individuals are speculating if Glorio is related to familiar demon royalty. The moves Glorio makes and their body language could imply he is greater than a servant.

Maybe he is a child of the previous king which would make him a prince, not an army man. Recently, rumors also unmasked that he is a son of Dabura. Dabura is one of the iconic characters in Dragon Ball. This would place him in a contradictory position against the current government.

The Hierarchical Politics of the Demon Realm

The demon world is strictly hierarchical. The citizens of the First Realm are the most privileged. If Glorio is indeed a relation of this upper stratum, then it will be an excellent reason to explain his supposed antagonism with hierarchy and authority.

Enigmatic background, the prospect of being a First Realm holder, is all that adds more intrigue; thus, a main focus of the unfolding drama of ‘Dragon Ball DAIMA’ has him.
