Why Warren Buffett Was Dragged Into The Mess?
Warren Buffett is one of the best-known fundamental investors in the world. However, Buffet mostly invests in companies that are already standing strong and are successful. He is the fifth richest person in the world as well.
But when it comes to Elon Musk, he takes pride in building up companies from the ground up. Instead of investing in already successful companies, Musk buys struggling new companies and builds them up.
The same goes for Tesla. Before Musk, Tesla was just an idea and did not exist as such. Elon Musk has even said so to Tesla analysts before, “I’m not Warren Buffett. I’m not an investor. I am an engineer and manufacturing person and a technologist.”
“I actually work and design and develop products,” he continued. “We’re not going have a portfolio of investments or whatever.” However, Musk does respect Buffet a lot and has said that he would welcome him if he wanted to be a shareholder at Tesla.
Correction…started Tesla.
