Elon Musk never fails to be in the news, reasons can vary from good and bad to ugly. From his Twitter lawsuit to his business ideas to his controversial statements, he has done it all. One of his concerns is about underpopulation which doesn’t go well with most people who argue that the planet is already exploding with overpopulation.
Recently, the Tesla CEO has said something again that might irk some people. Billionaire Mark Cuban talked of a recent text exchange he had with Musk after the birth of one of his children. His response cemented Musks’ earlier comment on population.

Elon Musk Wants To Have A Lot Of Children
On the Thursday edition of the Full Send Podcast, ‘Shark Tank’ billionaire Mark Cuban talked about a recent chat he had with Musk after the birth of one of his children.
Cuban said, “He had another kid, right? This was before the last three or whatever it was.” He was probably referring to three children Musk fathered in 2021, one with musician Grimes, and two with an executive at Neuralink.
He recalls telling Musk, “I’m like, ‘Dude, congratulations, how many you going to have? He sends me a text back, ‘Mars needs people.'”
Musk, who often talks about his concern over underpopulation, has a total of nine children from different partners. Last month, the SpaceX founder confirmed sharing twins with his Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
Elon Musk’s Father Errol Welcomed A Second Child With Stepdaughter
In a recent interview, Elon’s father Errol Musk talked about welcoming his second child with his stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout. The 76-year-old man said that the second child was “unplanned.”
Errol had first shared a daughter with his 35-year-old stepdaughter Jana in 2017. Both were living together for the first 18 months following Elliot’s birth but now they have separated.
He talked about their age difference and said, “It’s not practical. She’s 35. Eventually, if I’m still around, she might wind up back with me. Any man who marries a [younger] woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while, but there’s a big gap … and that gap is going to show itself.”
Elon’s father, who has seven children, also concurs with his son’s views on the human population. He said, “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce. If I could have another child I would. I can’t see any reason not to. If I had thought about it then Elon or Kimbal wouldn’t exist.”
